Intelligent Transport System (ITS) is the term applied to transportation systems which were made to save lives, reduce congestion, save time, save money, and enhance productivity.
The Dedicated Short-Range Communication (DSRC) is a new concept in communication for the construction and expansion of ITS, and communication between roadside equipment (RSE) and onboard equipment (OBE).
The DSRC system is characterized by a communication coverage range of less than 100 meters and high mobile speed.
The services using the DSRC include probe data collection, traffic information, dynamic route guidance, in-vehicle information display, advanced traffic signaling for emergency vehicles, electronic toll collection, commercial vehicle operation and electronic clearance.
We are developing RSE & OBE technology based on existing DSRC systems.
